Growing up attending First Covenant Church in Marinette, WI, Pastor Anne came to faith in Jesus Christ as a young child. As she grew in her faith, she recognized a deep calling to love people, to serve, and to lead. In college and the years following, she cultivated these goals by working in the nonprofit sector for close to 10 years until she went to North Park University for her Master’s in Nonprofit Administration. During her time there Pastor Anne felt God calling her into ministry in the church. So, after graduating with her MNA in 2012 she followed God’s leading and entered seminary at North Park Theological Seminary. Pastor Anne graduated with her Master of Divinity in the fall of 2015 and entered into a pastoral calling at Glen Ellyn Covenant Church later that year. In June of 2017 she was ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church. Pastor Anne has an adventurous spirit and loves to go off exploring new places (especially National Parks!), new things or well-known favorites, good food, and she absolutely loves being the awesome aunt and hanging out with her much beloved nephews and niece. Pastor Anne is excited for her call as Interim Pastor in January 2021 to First Covenant Church of Moline and looking forward to seeing how God shapes us and where God leads us in our time together.
